Puppet show PS

On Tuesday, February 27th, the students of Petite Section (PS) attended a puppet show presented at the Bon Soleil theater.

The story tells of a voracious little caterpillar who lives on a vegetable vendor’s stall; she dreams of flying one day, like a bee, a plane, or even a flying saucer. She achieves this by transforming into a butterfly after tasting all the vegetables on the stall!

The delicacy of the crocheted puppets, the softness of the staging, and the humor of the situations enchanted the young audience, many of whom were attending an English-language performance for the first time.

The show was a resounding success; the students of the Petite Section sang, danced, and vibrated with the caterpillar until it flew away!

Mardi 27 février, les élèves de Petite Section (PS) ont assisté à un spectacle de marionnettes présenté au théâtre Bon Soleil.

C’est l’histoire d’une vorace petite chenille qui vit sur l’étal d’une marchande de légumes, elle rêve de s’envoler un jour comme l’abeille, comme l’avion, voire comme la soucoupe volante. Elle y parvient en se transformant en papillon après avoir goûté à tous les légumes de l’étal !

La délicatesse des marionnettes faites au crochet, la douceur de la mise en scène et l’humour des situations ont enchanté le jeune public, qui pour beaucoup assistait pour la première fois à une représentation en anglais.

Le spectacle a rencontré un franc succès, les PS ont chanté, dansé, vibré avec la chenille jusqu’à son envolée !
