Reading and writing in English in Ce1

The students in Ce1 are starting to read and write in English. First, we learn the sound and then we play games to recognise it and find it in words. We also practice writing by making sentences and repeating structures.

In these photos, we can see the students playing different games: classifying words by its sounds, making sentences, reading and matching with the correct pictures or finding all the family members in a group.

Children love when they can start reading and understanding words.
